JOB SUMMARY:

This position is for teens between the ages of 14-18 whether they are students of Mead School District or another school district.  May work in a variety of roles for the Mead School District. Responsibilities vary with Individual Assignment.

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Take the job seriously and perform at the highest level of your ability.
  • Follow and support building, department and district policies and procedures.
  • Encourage and model expected behavior.
  • Provide great customer service and have a good work ethic
  • Maintain good work attendance and report to assigned duty areas promptly and reliably.
  • Work cooperatively and respectfully with all members of the school community.
  • Notify your supervisor in advance of any changes to your work schedule or other commitments that will affect work availability.
  • Dress appropriately for the job

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must be between the ages of 14-18.
  • Must be able to successfully pass a background check.
  • Must be able to obtain both parent and school authorization to work prior to first scheduled work day.

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:

  • Be flexible and able to commit to work schedule which may include some evenings and weekends.
  • Be comfortable and confident with peer supervision;
  • Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills; is a “self-starter”
  • Work independently with a minimum amount of external motivation and supervision;
  • Referee applicants must possess a working knowledge of basic sport rules and regulations from past playing/participation or prior refereeing experience.
