SUBSTITUTE COOK - NUTRITION SERVICES 

JOB SUMMARY: The candidate will work under the supervision of the Kitchen Manager and Assistant Kitchen Manager.  Within this general framework, specific duties will vary.

The Salary Range for a substitute cook is Min $16.72 – Max $16.72 per hour. Substitutes will accrue 1 hour of sick leave for every 40 hours worked.  Substitutes who work 630 hours will become benefit eligible for the remainder of the school year.  Standard benefits include: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance and Long-Term Disability. 4.   After your initial screeningif selected, you will be instructed to come by the District Office to complete your paperwork.  Completion of packet, to include Fingerprint clearance and copy of current Food Handler’s Permit, must be done prior to start of work.  All selected candidates must be Board Approved.

   

Verification of identity and United States work authorization must be completed before employment commences. The successful candidate for this position must be fingerprinted. Employment is contingent upon clearance by the Washington State Patrol and the Federal Bureau of Investigation.
